o Analyzes requests for CISA records under the guidance of the Senior FOIA Analyst.
o Coordinates with the Senior FOIA Analyst and the requester as necessary to perfect requests.
o Reviews records to make release and withholding determinations while applying the statutory guidance.
o Coordinates referrals and consultations with other entities as necessary and tracks same.
o Ensures compliance with the provisions of current FOIA and disclosure law and regulations.
o Ensures proper and timely responses to FOIA and PA inquiries.
o Compiles data as necessary for agency leadership.
o Participates in agency meetings concerning FOIA, PA and other access programs.
o The incumbent is responsible for resolving conflicts and problem cases.
o Ability to prepare written reports based on analysis and research of data and appropriate to Privacy Act Request or FOIA activity or program studied.
o Knowledge of computer software to manage databases, create spreadsheets and extract information to present data in a variety of formats for briefingsRequirements Conditions of Employmento You must be a U.
