Redhorse Corporation (Redhorse) is seeking an exceptional and experienced leader to serve as a Business Development Executive who will support Redhorse's line of business focused on providing technology services to customer within the Intelligence Community.
This role will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for developing technology strategies that marry Redhorse's expertise in data analytics and engineering with cutting-edge technology to better solves complex data issues in the federal space to increase win probability.
The candidate will build trust relationships with current and future customers to identify their needs and map them to Redhorse capabilities.
They will evaluate opportunities for organic and new business growth, solve technical questions, work with other Redhorse technical experts to coordinate, refine and tailor innovative solutions.
The Business Development Executive will lead complex negotiations with industry partners to build teams supporting large complex procurements, lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients' requirements and buying patterns, develop complex technical solution options, and build a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid.
This business development leader will drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts to support expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipelines.
The Business Development Executive will provide content for and lead RFI responses, draft content for technical sections of proposals and develop white papers and marketing collateral on a variety of technical topics of relevance to Redhorse customers.
The candidate will work as a liaison between the National Security Services technical vertical and the Digital Solutions horizontal.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position include:
Developing relationships with new and existing Intelligence Community customers to determine their needs and match them to Redhorse capabilities.
Provide expert guidance, recommendation, and vision with regard to assessing the client environment system and technology posture.
Leading the development of technology solutions in collaboration with Intelligence Community customers, other Redhorse technical experts and business representatives Bringing expertise in digital solutions in cloud, data analytics and machine learning/artificial intelligence, and internet of things.
Having a working knowledge of or desire to learn the Intelligence Community technology services industry to include data analytics, predictive analysis, condition-based maintenance, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
Providing written technical leadership and responses to federal RFIs, RFPs, orals presentations, customer briefings.
Provide expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to technical subject matter.
Review stakeholder requests and research other topics as required, and provide assessments and recommendations based on knowledge of current and emerging technologies and best business practices.
Serving as technical expert on growth opportunities providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
Think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills.
Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
Consulting with and mentor project team technical resources to understand client challenges and preferences.
Production of expert level white papers for executive leadership and external organizations.
Maintaining robust pipeline of opportunities, follow strict protocol around opportunity capture.
Maintaining CRM.
Participating in leadership-level strategy and planning.
Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials include:
Bachelor's Degree required A current and active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS SCI) and a current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with at least 3 years in federal sales in the National Security space (Defense, the Military Services, the Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Law Enforcement agencies), to include proposal development, preparation, analysis, writing, and reviews.
Experience securing large complex programs for federal customers.
Demonstrated success as both an individual contributor and leader on government proposal efforts.
Proven ability to drive key client communication and expectations, both internally and externally.
Experience engaging clients and developing relationships at the highest levels of the federal government.
Strong communication skills and ability to understand business functionality.
Ability to foster positive business relationships.
Proven leadership abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and file sharing applications.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
Able to work under pressure of deadlines.
Able to work long hours and weekends if required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
