Summary:
The SrKnowledge & Data Support would be the advisor to the Director of Integration and the Program Element Monitor on adequacy of documentation and creation and management of all knowledge-based project management requirements, issues, legislative, and regulatory matters, helps to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organization
Responsibilities:
o Support the execution of current knowledge management practicesAnalyze the effectiveness of the impact of current practices in terms of organizational benefits and design new knowledge distribution policies As the Advisor to the Director of Integration and the Program Element Monitor on adequacy of documentation and creation and management of all knowledge-based project management requirements, issues, legislative, and regulatory matters, helps to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organization.
o Lead, plan, organize and coordinate the records management program for both electronic and non-electronic recordsEstablishes controls for all records management activities.
o Serves as the technical expert on records management issues, facilitating communications in matters relating to records/information assets and the management of risks to those assets.
o Participates in SAF/AQL planning processes concerning all major information systems to ensure that records management functionality appropriate to the records/information assets they support is included in system designAdvises on metadata requirements necessary to ensure compliance.
Works closely and proactively to ensure that records/information assets are managed to ensure Government accountability, and mitigate records-related litigation risksConducts periodic internal reviews of files to ensure compliance to policy and best-practices.
o Interacts with the staff members, and program managers across all SAF/AQL facilities on knowledge management issues and practicesEncourages the staff to share knowledge effectively and efficiently.
Ensures that Program personnel are knowledgeable and kept current about records management principles and requirements through records management training appropriate to their needs, to include knowledge management tools, particularly with archived materials.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
o 10 years of relevant DoD work experience with experience in a SAP environment in the last 5 years Bachelor's Degree and equivalent certifications in lieu of Master's Degree in key areas (TBD) such as :
o Certified Knowledge Manager o Information Project Management o Security o Cyber Security Management and Policy TS//SCI w/CI Poly eligibility The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.
