Multimedia Audio/Visual (A/V) tech with Security Clearance

R-00130990 Description Leidos Digital Modernization Group is hiring an A/T technician/installer for the AFNCR ITS NMCC at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
TS/SCI is required; all work is onsite.
Must have a strong technical A/V background to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects supporting the operations and maintenance, new engineering change task orders, technical refresh, new system improvement and modernization activities, and other major changes that occur.
Primary
Responsibilities:
o Position is a shift position supporting a 24/7/365 mission.
o Install AV systems according to systems documentation and industry standards and best-practiceso Maintain accurate as-built documentation of systems installationso Provide field-support for service tickets as neededo Ability to read and understand project drawings and schematics, engineering notes, and operation manualso Experienced with the installation of AV systems and equipment including flat panel displays, control systems, and AV signal routing and processing equipmento Ability to fabricate, cable, and test equipment racks and cabinetso Demonstrate effective communication skills using tact and courtesy along with the ability to handle pressure sensitive situationso Ability to properly and safely use/operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testo equipmento Demonstrated ability to work with and without direct supervisiono Good interpersonal and time management skillso Must be detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines and tight timelines.
o W ill be required to trouble shoot and fault isolate a variety of audiovisual systems for high visibility and mission critical systems, as some of the solutions will require outside the box thinking and actionsBasic Qualificationso Possess a current TS/SCI clearance.
o Familiarity with multimedia (VTC, video walls, Crestron), telecommunication transport, secure and non-secure voice communications.
o Highschool diploma or equivalent and 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.
o Ability to lift/carry equipment and or tools in excess of 100lbs+.
o Able to perform installations and break fix actions while on ladders or crawl spaces of various heights and depthsPreferred Qualificationso Current or working towards an IA Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, etc.
o Possess or in process of obtaining A/V industry related certifications such as Avixa, Crestron, Extron or Biamp certificationsOriginal Posting Date:
