About the role:
The SR Manager Quality Assurance will focus on the management of and participation in development and execution of manual and automated scripts across Gartner s enterprise transformation programs including CRM and Finance applicationsWhat you will do:
Manage team and participate in the writing of effective manual or automated test scripts using approved testing tools, scripting tools and development tools (Selenium, Perfecto, Java), based on documented requirements and technical specifications provided by project team.
Lead End-to-End test strategy and execution across CRM and Finance transformation initiatives.
Prepare metrics to report test status and key quality and defect metrics.
Triage and analyze defects to identify gaps in test coverage and improvements in the team s processesClearly communicate QA results, concerns, project status and potential risks to project schedule to management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Work with the development teams to ensure that User Stories are testable.
Make well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous software test issues and determine when software is ready for release from a testing perspective.
Prepare functional matrix for test areas assigned and perform a walkthrough with the appropriate project team members to ensure accurate and complete coverage of designated areas.
Guide team towards a culture of built-in quality and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance, leadership, and training to QA members into the Agile SCRUM development teams and ensure consistency of our built-in quality efforts across all SCRUM teams.
Manage hiring, retention, and performance management for QA team.
