PRO-telligent, A TetraTech Company, was recently awarded a contract with The Department of State, Overseas Buildings Operations, Office of Construction Management (CM). We are seeking clearable Mechanical Engineers with experience providing engineering
services
in support of construction sites. This project involves construction of new embassy compounds. Candidates must have 10 years of engineering experience and willing to travel to international U.S. embassy sites. A Top Secret or interim Top Secret Clearance is required. Candidates with a Secret clearance and all other qualifications listed inteh job requirements below will be considered for an upgrade to Top Secret.
The Mechanical Engineer:
Serves as a Mechanical Engineer. Engineering degree required.
Develops working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects
Provides Quality Assurance for ongoing construction projects
Reviews contractor submittals from mechanical engineering perspective.
Prepares responses to RFI questions related to mechanical engineering
Evaluates proposed submittal substitutions with mechanical engineering implications
Coordinates development of Independent Government Estimates for modifications and change orders
Reviews and evaluated design calculations and data from mechanical engineering perspective
Prepares monthly progress report summarizing project status, with emphasis on mechanical engineering
Additional international locations will be added in future task orders. If you are willing to deploy to other locations and have the minimum skills listed, you are encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements :
This
position
requires the following:
10 years of engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
Current Top Secret or interim Top Secret Clearance
Able to deploy within 30 days of notification of client acceptance of resume
Oversees experience preferred
Professional Registration preferred
