Senior Technical Consultant (Integration Engineer)
who will manage the entire B2B lifecycle from project initiation through deployment to production across Supply Chain business processes of our
E2Open
partner's cloud-based supply chain collaboration software solution. This member of the E2open
Technology Consulting Practice
, based in
Arlington, VA/Washington D.C.,
will configure the HUB for the customer backend and trading partner integration (gateway protocols, scenarios, transforms, reports, etc.) defined by the approved integration design.
Responsibilities
Work with a Technical Hub lead to design and develop B2B Supply Chain Management solutions for E2Open customers and their trading partners
Implement customized solutions within the SCM E2open product suite to meet customer specific integration requirements
Work with diverse and remote development, management and QA teams to quickly and efficiently implement customized integration modules and data conversion maps in Java, Groovy, XSLT and/or Informatica
Manage multiple concurrent implementations with customers and their trading partners, while coordinating activities via direct or indirect communication with those partners
Support continuous development, testing, and integration of multiple customer deployments to support all phases of the SDLC, including QA, UAT and Go-Live phases
Work with appropriate parties with a sense of urgency to ensure issues are resolved accurately and in a timely manner
Articulate, share and explain results and information to the implementation teams
Participate in updating training materials, how-to guides and mentor and support other team members
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (or equivalent) is required
2 years demonstrated experience in
Java, RDBMS and SQL required
2 years demonstrated experience in at least two of the following languages:
Groovy, C++, PL/SQL, XSLT, XPATH, or Informatica preferred
2
years of software integration experience
2 years experience in developing supporting enterprise level IT solutions in large volume transactional systems in Linux or Unix environments
Proven experience with development methodologies, version control and configuration management
Working knowledge of EDI, XML messaging concepts and practices, and standard communication protocols
Must be able to understand/interpret flat file specifications and EDI document specifications and integration mapping specifications
Logical approach and excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to effectively troubleshoot, provide feedback, and resolve issues with great attention to detail
Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently under minimal supervision with remote project teams
Must be flexible with working hours to support international remote teams in different time zones and countries
Experience using JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, SVN, Maven, and/or Eclipse is preferred
Experience in B2B projects and initiatives in the logistics or supply chain area preferred
Travel required during the initial training period of 4-6 weeks. An additional 5% travel may be required after training
