Associate Management Consultant (On-Boarding Specialist)
to
execute the entire B2B life-cycle of
our E2open partner's, cloud-based supply chain management
solutions.
This member of our E2open consulting practice, based in Arlington Virginia,
is responsible for executing the on-boarding activities in the implementation life-cycle, from project initiation through deployment into production across Supply Chain business processes. We are looking for someone who will become a functional Supply Chain Management expert who will understand the customer's business and will work with the stakeholders and trading partners to ensure the successful implementation of the E2open product.
Responsibilities
:
30% to 40% Project Coordination
Execute multiple concurrent on-boardings for trading partners with single or multiple Customer implementations, including direct communication and coordination with those partners
Track and follow through on action items and execute the project plan
Host remote conference calls, drive the agenda, and understand the audience to articulate information clearly
Keep projects on track, overcome roadblocks and provide solutions to meet tight deadlines and keep the project moving forward
30% to 40% Plan and Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Understand project scope and work with Stakeholder and On-boarding Manager to create UAT Plan
Create or assist in creating & execute detailed test cases, test data and documenting UAT findings
Coordinate activities to verify UAT messages are formatted, transmitted and processed as per specification
Assist in troubleshooting with issues and problems during UAT and Document UAT findings
Resolve B2B communications issues and data translation errors during the UAT
Own & Track each UAT finding to until each issue is resolved
15% to 20% Documentation / requirements gathering / Training Customers & Trading Partners
Responsible for creating the messaging guidelines/requirements and working with the customer's and trading partner's technical configuration teams to ensure the requirements are met
Author or co-author Map Specification and other technical/functional documentation as directed
Must be able to understand the message routing and message orchestration
Must be able to educate suppliers and clients on on-boarding process, timeline and the functionality
Responsible for training customers and trading partners on how to use the system
Qualifications:
Must have experience in at least one of the following technologies: FTP, EDI, XML,MQ Message, TCP/IP, UN/EDIFACT, OAGSIS, or any the file or message protocol technologies
Must be strong with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook Calendar and MS Project)

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems; strong analytical skills & communication
Working knowledge of EDI and XML messaging concepts and practices preferred
