Summary
This position is responsible for providing multi-level and cross-functional support to facilitate the successful development, design and delivery of NRECA Education and Training (E&T;) programs, including in-person conferences, seminars and web-based events for electric cooperative managers, directors and staff. The tasks will include, but not be limited to, support of E&T; instructional designers and program managers, event speakers and instructors, working with staff across NRECA performing marketing, registration and meeting planning functions. This position will work as an integrated team player providing support across all E&T; work units, projects and assignments.

Provides project management coordination and support for curriculum designers and NRECA event program managers of conferences, seminars, orientations, training programs and online events
Coordinate and execute back-office event processes including speaker and instructor logistics, system event set-up, online marketing (e.g., web sites and social media), and event mobile apps
Collaborate with colleagues across NRECA to ensure that all details necessary for the successful design and delivery of events are communicated and expedited in a timely and efficient manner
Provide front-line customer service and administrative support by assisting with member inquiries about E&T; programs
Design, write and proofread on-site event programs and collateral material
Monitor event listings on web sites and facilitate timely and accurate program and scheduling updates as needed
Coordinate continuing education credit offerings for conferences and events (e.g., CLE, CPA, CPM/CPSMPDH, PHR/SPHR, CEBS, CMS, and CAP/CPS)
Monitor conference budgets and invoices
Cooperative University Online Learning Management System
Provide support for NRECA's portion of the Cooperative University learning management system (LMS)
Collaborate with the LMS administrators, course developers, program managers and other stakeholders to facilitate change management and maintenance of online education programs across the Association.
Project management support in the design, development and delivery of web events for NRECA and its business partners
Assist in launch of newly developed courses within the LMS - build associated learning activities, user group access and properties; execute proper testing and Q/C protocols consistently to ensure flawless implementation
Manage course rosters and instructor access for instructor-led online courses
Requirements and Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum 3 - 5years experience working in an education environment, preferably association education, including conferences, seminars and workshops - all shapes, all sizes, all dimensions, all formats (on-line and in-person)
Experience in all aspects of event planning and production
Proven experience working with a Learning Management System to set up and deliver online programs with a wide variety of components. Experience with an Oracle/Taleo LMS is a plus. LMS Certification will be required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing virtual conferences, streaming video, and web conferences; INXPO platform a plus
Proven oral and written communication skills including writing, proofreading and editing
Strong customer service and inter-personal skills
Superior computer skills including Microsoft Office, database systems and basic use of Project Management software preferred
Familiarity with online course development software such as Articulate studio and Articulate Storyline
Familiarity with html coding and Adobe products: InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Association, non-profit organization work experience a plus
15-20% travel required

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
