Serves as an Intelligence Specialist for SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW) and Information Operations at the GG-13 level and provides technical advice on wide range of analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation or dissemination of information and or products.This position is located in Headquarters United States Marine Corps; Arlington, VA.
You must be a US Citizen. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a polygraph examination This position is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP) You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Represent the Marine Corps in these areas on National and DoD committees and working groups and is responsible for drafting, staffing and presenting service level positions in these forums
Manage the planning and programming process of National SIGINT programs.
Develop and track measures of effectiveness for USMC SIGINT/EW units to identify deficiencies and required enhancements.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Providing new generation process planning and programming of National SIGINT programs; 2)Providing advice on Signal Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Information Operations; 3) Performing Signal Intelligence analysis and production tasks.

A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). This position is in the excepted service. Non-DCIPS applicants selected for a DCIPS position must acknowledge in writing, prior to actual appointment to the DCIPS position, that the position for which he or she has been selected is in the excepted service and covered by DCIPS. Federal employees currently serving in the competitive service must also acknowledge that they will voluntarily leave the competitive service by accepting an offer of employment for a DCIPS position. This acknowledgement is necessary as movement between the excepted service and competitive service may be limited if the employee does not possess competitive status.
All newDCIPS employees must successfully complete a two-year trial period.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
