Sr. Business Analyst

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to support the maintenance and enhancement of a diverse set of applications and technologies where we are the prime. The right candidate should have strong requirements and testing experience, be self-motivated, excel in tight-deadlines, be willing to contribute in multiple roles and work well in a team environment.
Leads a team of business analysts, system analysts and testers - oversees the day-to-day activities of a small or large team.
Responsible for effective transitioning of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams in the accomplishment of project activities and objectives.
Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.
Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
Has thorough knowledge of the business analysis, test planning and test execution principles
Provides advice on best practices.
Experience inferring requirements from Use Cases.
Experience interpreting and creating business models, system models, domain models and sequence diagrams.
Experience developing System Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Results
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts.
Gains in-depth and thorough understanding of the core business and assists implementation and testing of technology solutions while interacting with the development/test team on a regular basis.
Responsible for requirements management, traceability and requirements CDRLs.
Skillfully uses requirements to drive design and test cases/scripts, process change requests, and manage a project's scope.

years' experience working as a Business Analyst and/or Functional Tester.
Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
Working knowledge of UML.
Strong written and verbal communication a MUST, including technical writing skills.
Strong experience with various tools such as IBM Rational Software Architect, IBM Rational Rose, Visio, Team Foundation Server, MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.
Experience in Financial Regulatory domain is a plus.
