The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for the following:
The person in this position will be a part of a 10
person team and be responsible for the following:
Provide operations and maintenance and minor enhancement support for a major DOJ system
Performs full SLDC activities to include requirements, design, prototyping, implementation, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, post deployment enhancement and support for major and minor enhancement releases
Backend developer must have experience in the following technologies and methodologies: Java, JBOSS, Ant, Apache SVN, J2EE,, Hibernate, SQL and object-oriented analysis design (OOAD) methodology, and optionally Swing
Responsible and accountable for quality of software code, unit testing of software code; participation in peer reviews and code walkthroughs; and participation with other team members during software requirements gathering
The Java Software Engineer must have the following skills:
Candidate must be a technical expert with in-depth programming and product knowledge with strong technical skills; that can provide high levels of research and analysis related to software design and development and solves complex problems
Desired experience in some or all the following technologies: business objects, iText, Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, NIEM, Web services, SMTP, SFTP, IBM Rational Tools: ClearQuest, functional tester, performance tester, quality manager; JAAS, Oracle data guard, disaster recovery
The Java Software Engineer must meet the following
Qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Current MBI, LBI, BI.
