Capstone Corporation is seeking talented individual to join Capstone as a Financial and Administration Coordinator to support the Program Management Office at US Army Information Technology Agency located in Alexandria, VA.
This position will be filled upon final funding to the current contract.
Coordinates and facilitates governance board and committee meetings, including scheduling agendas, briefings, and action items.
Tracks and manages all governance-related action items assigned through closing phase, ensuring all requirements are met by interfacing with all ITA support elements.
Creates Project Summary Charts and Information Technology Requirements to track customer requirements and requests.
Coordinates, collects, reviews, validates and compiles information from a variety of sources and in various formats, and prepares briefing packages.
Provides financial status information by preparing reports and completing special projects.
Assists in the monitoring and tracking of costs incurred against funding received.
Performs data-entry using the Agency Database, SharePoint, and the Project Summary Charts business application
Prepares reports and presentations using programs from MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) as well as the Agency Database.
Minimum Education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4 year experience in related field.
Ten (10) years of practical experience in administration to include working with senior executives and financial reporting.
Minimum qualifications:
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
Ability to effectively communicate across organizational layers and technical disciplines, both orally and written.
Strong facilitation skills and experience with meeting management to include preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions.
Experience developing, implementing and maintaining enterprise policies, procedures and operating standards.
Experience with applications such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, (Microsoft full suite) and SharePoint.
Clearance Requirements:
Secret clearance or the ability to obtain interim Secret.
Training and/or executive presentation experience.
Experience with the DoD environment a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
