The Virtualization Infrastructure Engineering opportunity is working to help our Federal clients achieve business objectives through the development and execution of pragmatic and innovative technology solutions. This is an opportunity to guide our clients as they investigate and leverage cloud, mobile, social and open source applications and solutions.
The Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the following:
The ideal candidate understands the entire infrastructure stack from the components that make up the network up through the operating systems and solutions that reside on the network.
A successful Infrastructure Engineer is well versed with converged infrastructure that blends networking, server hardware and virtualization, and storage.
They will have familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware/software and familiarity with multiple OS environments.
Infrastructure engineers will design and deliver cost effective infrastructure solutions meeting the business performance requirements and assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations
The Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer will have the following Skills:

years of experience as an implementation or operations engineering
A depth knowledge of Microsoft systems and interaction with Windows Server 2008 & Server 2012, technologies (MS RDS, SQL Server 2012, IIS, SCCM 2012, & SCOM 2012)
Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services and 3rd Party Federation Services.
A depth knowledge of various Virtualization design, which is not limited to Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware; which include a strong understanding of Application Virtualization, Desktop Virtualization, and Cloud base solutions.
Demonstrated experience with large project rollouts at an enterprise level using WYSE terminals or HP Thin Client.
The ability with integration of Cloud base SaaS and IaaS solutions such as
Deliver technical infrastructure scope documentation for projects.
Ability to plan, design and implement solutions; from initial concepts through pilot and hand off
Understanding of operational and support processes and best practices
Ability to evaluate competing ideas and analyze trade-offs
Understanding of team dynamics
Desire to stay up to date on technologies and best practices
Good written and oral communications skills
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated understanding of Storage technologies working with the following technologies NetApps, TinTri, or EMC.
Demonstrated understanding of networking (WAN LAN Firewall Layer 4-7) technologies working with the following technologies Cisco, Riverbed, Citrix, F5, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
Citrix Certified Professional Virtualization (CCP-V), Citrix Certified Professional Netscalers (CCP-N) and or experience at a high level of Citrix Product competency.
VB Scripting and / or MS Power Shell Scripting a plus.
Experience implementing Disaster Recovery in a virtualization environment.

years of experience as an implementation or operations engineering
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, IT, or similar disciplines).
Must be a US Citizen with and Active Secret Clearance
