is hiring an Application Engineer who will join our E2open Certified Professional Services team that has extensive experience implementing the suite of E2open Business Network products. These products support complex, multi-company, supply chain management workflows and B2B supply chain data interchanges. You will join the Supply Chain Management Digital Practice team to support implementations of supply chain solutions for E2open customers and their trading partners.
Required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (or equivalent) is required
Hands-on experience in Java, shell scripting and XML
Experience with database technologies including SQL and JDBC
Experience with Linux/Unix systems
Preferred
Experience using JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, and SVN
Experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing environment
Experience with full SDLC processes and understanding of development methodologies, version control and configuration management
Experience troubleshooting, providing feedback, and resolving issues with great attention to detail
Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as IBM Cognos and Tableau
Other Qualifications
Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently under minimal supervision in a remote setting, as needed
Logical approach, excellent problem solving skills, and eagerness to learn new technologies
Strong work ethic with ability tothink creatively and work independently on complex development tasks with great attention to detail
Proven ability to solve complex technical and business problems
Strong listening, writing, and verbal skills
Flexible with working hours to support remote and distributed project teams in different time zones and countries
Some travel may be required during the training period or during project implementations to customers' or E2Open's offices
Responsibilities
Work with a remote team of experienced professionals to develop, test and deliver necessary solutions
Analyze and implement software components and configure project-specific databases and system configurations of E2open product suite
Engage in prompt and appropriate communication with the project team lead and internal team members regarding assigned work
Demonstrate technical expertise on development projects
Provide comprehensive technical support to the project team, including: quality assurance/design reviews, environment setup, operations consulting, troubleshooting, and system testing
Communicate proactively and effectively with project team lead and project team members regarding assigned work
Complete assigned work within the allotted time and escalate issues that may negatively impact the project schedule
Work with appropriate parties to estimate development level of effort to drive project milestones and deadlines
Work with appropriate parties with a sense of urgency to ensure issues/defects are resolved accurately and in a timely manner
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times with customers and internal team members
