This position will support our valued client, TSA. You will be working with our teaming partner, Deloitte, the successful individual will provide project management and administrative support to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The Deployment and Logistics Division (DLD) ensures that the most efficient and effective capabilities and technology are deployed for checked baggage and checkpoint screening operations. Beginning in the technology development phase, DLD participates on PMO-led Integrated Product Teams as an operational representative of the end-user (the Office of Security Operations) to help inform efficacious product development. DLD serves as the primary subject matter expert on aviation security processes and procedures. Once Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) is validated and procured, DLD applies a documented methodology to select airports and schedule installation of TSE using Systems Integrator contracts. Once installed, DLD is also responsible for integrating new technology into the checkpoint and checked baggage landscapes to ensure integrity of the design and ConOps is upheld. This Division is further divided into the following five Branches: Western Region, Central Region, Eastern Region, Integrated Logistics Services and Operations Branches.


Under the supervision of a Team Lead, the Analyst will work directly with the Client and support team members to:

Support creation and maintenance of deployment schedules for all technology deployments
Support creation and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all equipment deployments
Provide analyst of ongoing airport deployment projects and coordination after contract award
Support weekly deployment status meeting including preparing documentation, meeting logistics, etc.
Respond to daily requests for current deployment information
Assist in management of the projects to cost, schedule and performance requirements
Assist in management of the requirements initiated from airport requests
Assist in providing, tracking, and managing planned and awarded airport project budgets
Assist with preparing presentations, briefings, point papers, letters of findings, alternative recommendations, and spreadsheet analysis of program and/or project data for briefings to internal management
Collect miscellaneous data, conduct internal studies and analyses, draft analysis reports
Prepare and deliver agendas, meetings minutes, action items, and decision memorandums in support of various meetings
Conduct a Monthly milestone review of the IMS with the purpose of early identifications of risk/ impact to changes to the schedule that affect the critical path
Inform the Deployment Coordinator of findings related to the IMS critical path validation process for risk mitigation or elevation
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, MIS or related discipline and 1 or more years of experience in the consulting field or other related work experience
Desire to work as a government contractor
Ability to analyze project data and develop appropriate deliverables
Ability to focus on project delivery related to business and technical integration
Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)
Basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements
Ability to understand the significance of the client's organizational culture and support organizational standards
Ability to make sound, well-informed and objective decisions
Ability to adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles--must be able to deal with ambiguity

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
