Summary:
The Training Manager identifies, coordinates, develops, and manages Joint individual training policies and programs to mitigate shortfalls associated with consequence management plans, operations plans, and national security plans.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages the specialized individual training policies and programs
Establishes policies and programs associated with development of NG capability with interagency / intergovernmental focus and expertise
Develop a program for continual utilization and improvement
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research utilizing standard research methodology
Maintains the Joint Training Information systems and evaluation criteria; establish and update distribution list for information and announcements
Inform stakeholders of the progress, problems, changes, and constraints encountered
Establish and maintain current production plans (e.g. Project Management, Proponent Development Plans and Course Management Plans)
Provide supervision, guidance, and training to content SMEs and training developers on performing development/production responsibilities
Provide information on the latest improvements in production, distribution, and/or presentation of education/training
Provide quality control and assurance for the education and training process and products developed
Identify and ensure the availability of resources required to accomplish education and training production
Ensure resources are efficiently and effectively applied
Provide information on resource requirements for budget planning and training product production
Provide input and metrics on the program for use in policy development
Employ the tenets and standards of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) for the development of course materials
Oversee identification, requirements, and execution of CBRNE Individual Training for NG CERFPs, HRFs
Conduct inter and intra agency course audits for NG applicability
Assist creating and updating policies and procedures to enhance CBRNE Training:
Develop and document NGB-J37 course curriculums
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of Curriculum and Training Development IAW TRADOC Reg 350-70.
In-depth knowledge of of Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and data/web-based systems.
Knowledge of the ARNG policies and procedures for CBRNE Collective Training
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active SECRET security clearance throughout the entire duration of the project.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate any support tasks to standard.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Ability to identify problems or potential problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Ability to quickly respond to Government-identified problems or potential problems.
Additional Position Information:
Bachelors Degree Must have 7 years experience in the subject area. At least 3 of those years must be directly related to the required area of expertise

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
