The Interactive Marketing Specialist works collaboratively within the Marketing organization to support effective planning, development, and execution of digital marketing initiatives intended to expand awareness, loyalty and customer/user engagement in support of growing market share and market leadership.
In this role the Interactive Marketing Specialist will support the Senior Interactive Marketing Manager, across various interactive marketing initiatives with an emphasis on content management for the company web site, blog, and social media. The Interactive Marketing Specialist will help coordinate the editorial calendar and ensure that the Surescripts web site and various social media channels are optimized and up to date. The Interactive Marketing Specialist will also provide tactical support for email campaigns and help coordinate reporting dashboards across all interactive marketing campaigns. This position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Surescripts operates in a fast paced and dynamic health care information management and technology industry, so this role requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, who can think quickly, multi-task, identify critical path items and apply strong analytical judgment around issues and opportunities. While many aspects of our business are complex, an ability to simplify and effectively communicate verbally and in written format is essential. Demonstrated ability to utilize and employ project management principles to drive strong consistent program delivery and effectively engage cross-functional teams internally and externally are critical skills.

Utilize and employ project management principles to drive strong consistent program delivery and effectively engage cross-functional teams internally and externally
Coordinate content editorial calendar across various social media channels and company blog
Collaborate on content for social media campaigns based on editorial calendar, monitor social media channels and recommend engagement opportunities
Deploy emails as needed using email distribution system and maintain email contact lists
Support webinar promotion as needed
Assist with search engine marketing efforts including keyword research and paid search reporting/program monitoring and coordinate reporting associated with all paid search and paid social campaigns
Review web and social media analytics and recommend adjustments where appropriate
Collaborate with internal database team to ensure effective lead capture and reporting process for interactive lead generation campaigns
Provide support for marketing automation campaigns and program measurement
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
4
years of experience in interactive marketing and social media
2
years of experience managing projects
2
years of experience using and marketing automation
2
years of experience in web site content management system
2
years of experience using web site analytics programs
Preferred
Qualifications:
Industry: Healthcare (B2B product or Consumer), health information technology, network technology
Basic understanding of online marketing principles and terminology
Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, emerging media and the Internet
