Seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to support a Federal Government IT support services contract. The BA will support process analysis activities the development of process models, and identification of process improvements. The BA will conduct requirements management activities to include elicitation definition and tracking of business and system requirement specifications. The BA will conduct stakeholder interviews, manage project plans, develop "As-Is" and "To-Be" documents, and facilitate workshops. In addition, the BA will work with the team to analyze business problems, conduct analysis and recommend solutions .
Experience working within an IT organization
Experience using an iterative development SDLC (ie RUP and/or Agile)
Ability to use modeling techniques to document business process and data flows
Create documentation of business requirements in RUP-based SDL
Assist in creating and assessing performance measurements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle time-sensitive deadlines and deliver quality results.
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and document current workflow and formulate recommendations for process improvements
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (including Project and Visio)
PMP and/or SCRUM Certified

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
