About the Position: Arlington National Cemetery is located in Arlington, VA. Since May of 1864, Arlington National Cemetery has served as the nation's premier military cemetery and shrine honoring those men and women who served in the Armed Forces.

Assist in the installation and repair of plumbing fixtures by measuring, cutting,bending, and threading pipe, ring lead joints, and testing systems for leaks
Assist in the installation and repair of concrete curbs, gutters, foundations, walls,steps, patios, sidewalks, manholes, and other concrete structures.
Maintain cemetery roads by breaking up damaged portions of roadway and patching with asphalt using shovel, rake, and tamper.
Operate tar kettle for filling cracks in roads.
Assist carpenter in construction of framing for new and existing structures and the application of siding, paneling, roofing, sheathing, and shingles.
Assist in the installation and repair of metal gutters and downspouts and in the minor repair of heating systems.
Erect and dismantle snow fences.
Operate a pickup truck and tractor for pulling air compressor and tar kettle.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker, WG-4749-07 without more than normal supervision. Applicants must meet the screen out element to be considered further. To meet the screen out element applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: independently performed full range of duties of a Maintenance Worker performing duties such as: Repairing leaky faucets and outlets; clearing clogged drains and manholes; completing small cement finishing or masonry patching jobs; Installing forms, mixing concrete, rough finishing concrete and removing forms when concrete is properly cured; framing for new and existing structures and applying siding, paneling, roofing, sheathing, and shingles; operating tar kettle for filling cracks in roads.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
