Position Requirements/Qualifications:
ValidaTek, Inc. is a rapidly growing SBA 8(a) Certified small business specializing in supporting mission critical and high security systems engineering and operations projects for the Federal Government. To facilitate our growth, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Developer / Capture Manager for its Department of State (DoS) account. The primary focus of the position will be generating business and capturing opportunities across DoS leveraging existing and new contract t vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have strong business development skills and a demonstrated track record of successful sales to the Federal Government. Strategic planning ability and a strong desire to win business are keys to success in this position.
It is also important that the person have contacts and relationships within the federal contractor community specifically within DoS. This position will structure key partnerships and alliances, and establish new relationships that will benefit ValidaTek's short and long term success.

Researches market and coordinates the generation of new business relationships to enhance company revenues and profits. Oversees all leads for potential opportunities for expansion.
Develop and implement innovative business development and sales strategies by leveraging corporate capabilities.
Develops and validates viable, strategic business models for business partnerships. Ensures sales solutions enhance company opportunities.
Develops strategic business relationships with key decision makers including executive management. Builds relationships while positioning company for future prospects.
Interfaces with internal department executive management and external partners to develop and implement strategies, plans and business models. Ensures sales solutions meet needs of customer and company goals.
Determines new business courses of action; creates programs to support actions and oversees implementation of same.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and manage capture on those opportunities from end to end.

Knowledge and Experience:
10 to 15 years of experience in government contracting sales
Minimum of 5 years working at DoS as a business developer/account manager
Proven successful experience of account development
Working knowledge with 8(a) development program
Experience with capture/BD tools such GovWin
Successful experience with partners teaming and negotiating
HITSS or other DoS IDIQs experience- preferred

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree
