Job Description:
RDC is seeking a highly motivated Territory Representative to join tour client's Eastern Region GEM (Government, Education, and Medical) team to continue building the company presence within this growing territory. This role will work to prospect, identify and close new opportunities as well as continue to cultivate existing client relationships in the defined territory. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual who is committed to delivering results and has a successful track record in working with government and higher education accounts in the Mid-Atlantic area. (Market includes Enterprise Solutions, Business Intelligence and Integration for SLG and Higher Education excluding Public Safety to Mid-Atlantic Territory - SLG/HE: PA, DE, WV plus HE: DC, MD, VA). Position is based either in PA (Plymouth Meeting office) or DC (Arlington office).
Job Requirements:
Successful track record exceeding goals in the areas of Business Intelligence solutions, application development software, reporting tools, or integration software.
A College Degree preferably in a business and/or technical discipline.
Strong communication, and effective presentation, time management and organization skills.
Experience and the ability to deal with all levels of management in large organizations (from middle management to "C" level.)
The ability to understand how to pragmatically apply technical solutions to solve business problems, complete with return on investment (ROI) analysis.
Experience working in complex sales environments as sales leader of a team.
Experience in dealing with complex procurement processes from identifying an opportunity, through qualification of the opportunity, to closing and negotiating final terms and conditions.
The ability to maintain a high sales call activity, and strong social media and telephone prospecting skills.
Be an energetic self-starter and possess an excellent knowledge of the industry marketplace and business drivers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
