Job Description:
RDC is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to be responsible for working with customers and prospects to gather their business needs and translate them into a technical solution using Information Builders Business Intelligence and Integration products. The right candidate should have competency in working with data, analytical tools and delivering presentations.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
Work with customer data to design dynamic product demonstrations.
Apply business acumen to specialize in one or more Industries.
Become a Subject Matter Expert in Information Builders Business Intelligence toolset.
Drive all technical aspects of Proof of Concepts from data review and gathering business requirements to designing and presenting the solution
Must be passionate: - You love technology and are thrilled that you get paid to pursue that passion.
Must have energy and creativity: Enthusiasm about working with an amazing analytical toolset. You are positive and believe that if you work hard good things will happen.
Must be business oriented: You love working with customers and applying your business acumen to design demonstrations that solve business problems.
Technical Expertise: Must have a well-rounded technical portfolio of database skills, analytical tools and web technology. A degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience is a must.
Must have 5 or more years as a Systems Engineer or Sales Consultant. Experience working with Business Intelligence products as part of a different role within an organization will also be considered.
Job Specifics:
Engagement Type: Direct Hire.
Start Date: Immediate.
Location: Arlington, VA.
Salary Range: Competitive salary based on experience, plus commissions and full benefits package.
