Distil is aggressively seeking a Senior Full Stack Ruby Developer to work in our super fun Arlington, VA office.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Design and implement massively scalable backend system tying in postgres, rails and redis
Design and implement frameworks connecting our global CDN network to our backend infrastructure
Build out new reports and analytics for our customer facing, rails-based portal
Help our data science team scale our business analytics and collection abilities
Help train and mentor junior developers
Requirements:
Must be a US citizen.

years experience, preferably with an accompanying wizard's beard
Experience coaching junior developers
Knowledge of Rails, Postgres, Redis and Javascript
Comfortable with a Debian/Ubuntu environment
Experience developing in an Agile environment
Bonus Points For:
An understanding of Networking beyond restart your router
Familiarity with AWS, its quirks and gotcha's.
You're comfortable thinking in terms of large scale

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
