VP of People
Salary Range - 120K to 150k plus range DOE
We're seeking a highly energetic and innovative individual to lead People function. In this role you will be responsible for leading our HR and Recruiting functions - but it doesn't stop there. We're seeking a person who will do what it takes to attract, make effective, and keep motivated and productive a highly eclectic team of developers, design, program management and corporate team members.
Beyond the Recruiting and HR leadership we're looking for a person that will work with our managers to develop career progression planning and execution, training, onboarding and performance management.
We also want someone who will take a holistic view of how people drive our business and provide the senior leadership team of the company with analysis on market trends, the changes in our business and the skills required to support that and to support and build our increasingly globalized delivery team.
From a requirements perspective you must have an extremely strong Human Resources background so that you can effectively lead and grow this capability. At some point in your career you will have been Head of HR for an organization of 200 plus people and have the HR best practices, regulatory and process knowledge necessary to lead this function. You will have had at least 10 years of experience directly in HR or a closely related field.
But, we'd especially like to talk to you if you found the bounds of traditional "HR" a little constraining. We're looking for a team member who is passionate about people and willing to step up to lead all the dimensions of building a fantastic organization in a rapid growth mode. People are at the very center of what we do - and we want someone passionate about people.
This role will report directly to the COO and is located in Alexandria, VA. This is an on-site role with limited telecommuting options.
Certification in HR (a plus - not a requirement)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
