Database Administrator (Arlington, VA) (multiple positions). Modify existing databases and database management systems in the area of security and performance in a web and SOA architecture environment. Coordinate changes to computer databases. Participate in process improvements of our continuous integrations services. Provide database design recommendations and assist in the testing and user acceptance of software applications. Maintain source-code repository of database and participate in deployment of code into production. Maintain SQL Server stored procedures and administrative scripts for implementing bug fixes, feature enhancements, and system integrity of databases. Develop metrics for gauging success of enhancements using TFS and other issue tracking software in an agile/SCRUM SDLC environment. Requires Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and two (2) years work experience in the job offered. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each: 1) SQL Server (SQL), T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, execution paths, and performance tuning; 2) MS SQL Server database engine works, including: Physical storage, indexing, physical database design best practices, and the Query Optimizer; 3) Extracting, transforming, and loading data between a variety of sources and destinations using SSIS, Connection managers, Precedence Constraints, Tasks, Variables and Event Handlers.; and 4) Source code repository. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
