Systems Engineer/Software Developer

The candidate will work across a number of disciplines with the software and hardware engineering teams to deploy and operate unique and complex systems in both online and closed network environments.
Main job functions include:
(1) authoring backend services for system configuration and job control, (2) supporting repeatable Linux system installation, network configuration, and troubleshooting, and (3) maintaining, upgrading, and improving issue tracking, VCS, and CI systems.
Essential Functions Strong background in Linux systems (especially RHEL/CentOS), including:
configuration and security, control of installed and running services, repeatable installations, network configuration, routing, and packet filtering, and troubleshooting Software development experience in one or more of:
Python (strongly desired) C/C++/Java (strongly desired) Golang Bash JavaScript Ruby/Perl Experience with software configuration management (Git, Subversion) Experience with continuous integration platforms (Jenkins) Knowledge of best practices for an always-up, always-available service Ability to respond to technical questions and requests from customers remotely or on-site Clear written and verbal communication skillsEducation/Experience Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 3 years of professional work experience in Linux, scripting, and coding S.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
