Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a z/OS Systems Programmer to support our operations in Arlington, VA.

The z/OS Systems Programmer will be responsible for the following:
Install, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain:
z/OS operating system.
z/OS program products, e.g. SAS, FDR, CA-ACF2
Demonstrate competency with operating system support components, e.g. RMF, DFdss, etc.
24x7 availability for troubleshooting and problem resolution
The z/OS Systems Programmer must have the following skills:
In-depth knowledge of z/OS and it's support components
In-depth knowledge of SMP/E
In depth knowledge / familiarity with program products, e.g. ACF2, BMC software products etc. Forecast future media requirement - both tape and backup disks
Secondary Skills:
Assembler Language skills
DB-2 System Programming experience
CICS System Programmer experience
The z/OS Systems Programmer must meet the following
Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain required clearance.
