About the position:
At Curb we are in the process of transforming the regulated ground transportation industry (Taxi and Livery). We are seeking talented product owners to join our small product team to define and execute a product strategy that is focused on enabling people to easily and quickly get a safe, reliable ride from their local taxi fleet.
At Curb you will work with some awesome engineers, product managers, and designers in a dynamic environment that consists of autonomous squads who are responsible for owning and driving their portion of the product stack. As the product owner you will be responsible for what your squad builds and releases. We expect you to be a leader with sound product and business judgment, natural innovative instincts, reasonable technology insight, strong analytical abilities, burning desire to differentiate and challenge the status quo, and most importantly a customer first mentality.
Responsibilities:
As Product Manager you will
Rapidly understand our business vision, mission and strategy
Ensure that your team gets it and is on board (remember you are also the evangelist)
Live and breath data, be metrics driven
Communicate often and clearly with your Squad and stakeholders
Own the roadmap, solicit input, seek out stakeholders, and understand industry trends
Prioritize features, consider business objective, user expectations and need to delight users
Drive a cross functional team - must know how to lead with influence
Make sure we did what we said measurable success metrics
Desired Skills:
BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, business, economics, finance, or related field
At least 2-5 years of 'real' product management experience in 'shipping' a SaaS and/or consumer-mobile/internet product
Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment; creative thinker and problem solver; can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience executing complex products, including conducting market and UI research, analyzing data, gathering requirements, writing product specs, coordinating design, managing process and resources, triaging bugs, and managing launch schedules for delivery to millions of users
Experience working with Agile/XP/Scrum methodologies
Must have sound design instincts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate teams and build consensus among multiple stakeholders
Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills
Passionate, hungry with a strong bias for action

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
