Position Description:
Perform full-life cycle recruiting to attract exceptionally qualified candidates for audio visual (A/V), IT, technical, sales and other corporate positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, determine how to successfully source for each position, and select and hire top talent for their needs
Creatively source candidates through a variety of methods to attract top talent including passive candidates.
Screen and assess candidate's skills and background against specific position requirements.
Accurately document and maintain all candidate activity; provide weekly reports on assigned metrics
Maintain current candidate and job status in the applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Desired Skills and Experience
Must have 1-3 years of experience working in a recruiting capacity. (e.g. Agency Recruiting, Corporate Recruiting, or a similar recruiting function)
Must have technical recruiting experience including knowledge of the audio visual industry and the various A/V technical roles, skills and responsibilities required of candidates.
Ability to multi-task and recruit for a diverse array of positions
Experience with online sourcing including social networks and resume databases.
A strong work ethic with a self-motivated, 'can do'/'get it done' attitude
A high level of customer service and relationship building skills
A professional demeanor with candidates, hiring managers and executives
Must possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently
Demonstrate a passion for & responsibility to both hiring managers and candidates
Must have prior experience with utilizing search engines to identify candidates (e.g. Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, ClearedJobs.net, LinkedIn)
Education and Certifications
4 Year College Degree
Staffing industry certifications is a nice to have

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
