Summary:
Currently seeking an energetic, dynamic and resourceful Business Analyst to join a fast growing IT firm working on cutting-edge technologies. The Business Analyst will interface with a wide variety of departments and work on both large cross functional projects and small system improvements. As a creative problem solver, he/she will enjoy the interesting opportunities provided to help identify business problems and propose solutions. The Business Analyst will facilitate business process improvement via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of functional business specifications. This resource manages the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification and verification of multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective and supports the ongoing management of the requirements.
Responsibilities:
Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Ability to elicit accurate client requirements through JAD sessions, workshops and interviews.
Proven experience gathering, interpreting, analyzing, validating, and testing Non-Functional, Functional, Technical and System requirements.
SDLC Methodology knowledge and experience surrounding processes, practices, Waterfall, Agile SCRUM & RUP.
Ability to manage, create and maintain requirements and tests scripts using various traceability tools.
UML methodology Implementation
Familiar in SQL secure language for data access and manipulation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS or another technical discipline.
1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience with gathering business/technical requirements and managing enterprise level technical projects.

Location: Position is located off-site at the ByteCubed Headquarters located in Arlington, VA

Clearance: Candidate must possess a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance at minimum prior to hiring. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: 100,000 USD AnnuallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
