I.
Summary:
Currently seeking an energetic, dynamic, and resourceful Case Manager to join a fast growing IT firm working on cutting-edge technologies. The successful candidate will support the Department of Defense's Office of Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy (DoD MIBP) in its review and assessment of transactions submitted to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). CFIUS is an inter-agency committee authorized to review transactions that could result in control of a U.S. business by a foreign person, in order to determine the effect of such transactions on the national security of the United States.
II. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with a specialty in law, policy, business and/or national security. A master's degree or a juris doctorate are highly preferred.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

years of professional experience. Experience with the Department of Defense and its stakeholders is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and comply with standard procedures for reviewing and assessing CFIUS cases. Standard procedures include:
o Reviewing the CFIUS filing and all supporting materials to identify DoD and component equities, and alerting all DoD CFIUS POCs of the presence of a new transaction within one business day of the notification of a new CFIUS case
o Preparing a Fact Summary of the case within five business days of the notification of a new CFIUS case,
o Engaging all DoD stakeholders on the facts of the case, including the size, scope, and nature of the acquiree's presence in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) as well as the proximity of the acquiree's actual or potential operations to DoD facilities,
o Compiling and reconciling comments from DoD stakeholders,
o Employing a risk-management framework to assess the risk to the DIB and making an initial recommendation to DoD MIBP to either clear the transaction or proceed to the investigative phase by Day 23 of the review,
o Drafting an initial Risk-Based Assessment (RBA) (where necessary)
o Supporting the drafting of mitigation terms for those CFIUS cases that present a national security concern to the DoD, and
o Preparing and managing the routing of any associated staffing packages.
Liaise with corporate representatives via both individual meetings and stakeholder conferences to discuss anticipated or current transactions that will be filed with CFIUS.
Coordinate with CFIUS representatives from other Departments within the U.S. Government to ensure a holistic assessment of national security risks arising from CFIUS transactions.
Draft memoranda and brief DoD leadership on the status of active CFIUS cases. Briefings would include concisely and cogently identifying status updates, significant obstacles or issues, and recommended courses of action.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: 120,000 USD AnnuallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
