Infrastructure Specialist
At Blackstone Technology Group, we are looking for Infrastructure Specialist who will be a key member of our IT organization.
Core
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, telecomm and network issues in a heterogeneous environment
Troubleshoot reported hardware/software problems
Add/delete/create/modify user account information, reset passwords, etc.
Answer technical queries and contribute to knowledge repository
Install and support network switches, routers and firewalls
Install, configure and support Windows and Linux servers
Configure and execute scheduled backups using Symantec Backup Exec
Perform hardware and software installs, maintenance and upgrades as needed to support user base
Shoretel VOIP setup and administration including switch maintenance
SQL Server 2005/2008 database maintenance and upgrades
Manage VMware & Hyper-V environment including setup of VMs, taking snapshots, backup and archiving of old environments
Coordinate with IT vendors as needed
Support users in remote offices
Deliver 99.9% uptime on critical infrastructure
Work with different infrastructure vendors and service providers
Required Technical
Qualifications:
3-7 years of proven support experience of MS Windows & Linux operating systems, Active Directory, MS Exchange 2010, VPN, VMware and Hyper-V
Proven networking skills managing Cisco firewalls, ASA, Meraki, network and bandwidth monitoring tools
Proven networking skills with setting up site to site VPN
Experience in MPLS implementation and maintenance
Experience with Active Directory
Experience working with AWS
Knowledge of DNS and DHCP setup
ShoreTel VOIP setup and maintenance
CCNA certification
Preferred
Qualifications:
CCNP certification
SharePoint 2013 administration and configuration
Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2015 administration and configuration
Microsoft CRM installation and administration
General
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills catering to technical and non-technical audiences
Enthusiastic, communicative and eager to learn
Strong ability to execute even when conditions maybe be stressful
Strong team player with the ability to lead
Versatile in handling multiple projects and at easy with changes in priorities
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
