The responsibilities of the Workplace Business Operations Specialist will include the following responsibilities:
Set strategic direction and vision for Workplace Solutions with the EA (Executive Assistant) function
Define performance metrics and monitor performance against the strategy as appropriate
Design and manager new or changes to, existing operating models, technologies and business applications to continually support the AFS Workplace Solutions strategy
Set and enforce policies and service standards, ensuring appropriate corporate control and local business relevance
Ensure the delivery of services is in line with predefined standards
Review strategic service models as appropriate
Establish and oversee the Workplace Solutions EA operating/FTE budget, including monthly variance analysis, annual quarterly/forecasting and long-term planning
Provide leadership, direction, development and employee supervision within the areas of responsibility (including succession planning and people development strategy
Account for the integrity of key human resources processes including career development, salary reviews, recruitment processes and performance management
Coordinate and manage the day to day function of EA support - coordinating EA desk assignments, working closely with Managing Directors on support needs, FTE time reporting and expense access and career counseling for eight FTE's and contractors
Provide leadership, direction, development and employee supervision within the areas of responsibility (including training strategy)
Manage and ensure consistent application of human resource processes including career development, salary review, recruiting and performance management within areas of responsibility and in accordance with local legislations and rules.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
