Energy Communications & Change Management Specialist, Senior

Key Role:
Assist an award-winning energy communications team in support of government clients, driving energy efficient behaviors and promoting renewable energy efforts. Write a variety of materials, including behavior change plans, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, official correspondence, fact sheets, and online content. Work independently and lead staff in day-to-day tasks, including media outreach, behavioral research and analysis, change initiative planning and execution, Web and social media updates, and collateral development. Develop relationships across energy and Department of Defense (DoD) teams to research content, facilitate collaboration, and identify emerging communications opportunities. Work with creative staff to develop compelling campaigns that drive service members to be more energy efficient. Comprehend the latest communications tools and trends to strategically recommend, apply, and execute innovative solutions. This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
-6 years of experience with communications, including in a consulting or agency environment
-Experience with social marketing, behavior change, and change management
-Experience with a range of writing styles, including social marketing plans, speech writing, fact sheet, social media, formal correspondence, and campaigns
-Experience with using digital outreach and social media channels to engage stakeholders
-Experience in working with creative staff to develop compelling campaigns
-Knowledge of various research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, and design thinking
-Ability to work independently and in teams to interact with senior-level clients
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with government consulting or contracting
-Experience with energy issues and the energy industry, especially energy efficiency and renewable energy
-Experience in the military or supporting the military
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
