The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS), is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that are used to defend the Federal Executive Branch's IT infrastructure from cyber threats. NCPS is housed within the Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
CSRA provides NSD with operations and maintenance support to sustain NCPS cybersecurity capabilities. We are currently seeking an experienced Remedy Specialist with the ability to design, develop, and analyze highly complex software programs using BMC Remedy ARS version 8.0 or later in Arlington, VA. This position requires the chosen candidate to have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Essential Job Functions
Administer and program BMC Remedy ARS
Perform upgrades and install the BMC Remedy ARS, Mid-Tier, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Asset, SLM, Service Request, Dashboard and Analytics, and Knowledge Management
Develop and implement modifications to the Remedy configuration management database (CMDB)
Create detailed designs based on customer's functional requirements
Install and configure Remedy ITSM suite of products and applications (8.0 or later)
Provide technical support to customers by investigating and resolving systems-related matters
Provide support telephonically and/or electronically
Analyze user requirements and provide recommendations to ensure task compliance
Create process, data, and workflow models

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
Four or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming, or naval architecture.
Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas
Experience working with one or more structured programming languages
Experience working with design principles and applications
Other Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in:
BMC Remedy ARS version 8.0 or later
IT System Management (ITSM) suite 8.0 or later
Microsoft SQL 2008 or later
It would be great if you also had knowledge of:
BSM Dashboards 7.7.02
BSM SAP 4.1 or later/BSM Analytics 8.1
Analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of systems
Communication skills to communicate system proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Leadership skills to assist less experienced personnel
Ability to integrate moderately complex hardware and software systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
