About the Opportunity
DMI is looking for an Senior Designer to join our growing creative team in Washington, DC. Working in the Studio under the direction of the Creative Director, the Senior Designer is a fresh creative thinker able to translate and extend concepts into effective digital, interaction, marketing, and motion-based designs. Attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential. Passion for design in all media is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Senior Designer's goal is to create conceptual ideas and experiences by ensuring the flawless execution of digital and multi-media campaigns. Here's your ideal skill set:
Highly conceptual thinking in both visual and interaction design. Blow us away with your work.
Take ownership of work by leading, managing and planning the creative process for multiple, concurrent projects.
Confidently build client relationships through understanding of their needs and presenting appropriate designs and concepts.
Work closely with the Strategy, UX and Copy teams to conceptualize, forecast, execute and troubleshoot your projects to delivery.
Clearly communicate your ideas and direction, whether written or verbally to clients and your teammates.
Source, hire and manage the creative direction of external vendors such as animators, photographers, illustrators, etc.
Be a strategic thinker, a business-savvy AD with a keen, in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience:
Have a BFA or equivalent in Graphic Design.
3 to 5 years of agency experience is a MUST.
Experience working collaboratively with all levels of designers and copywriters.
Have a mastery of Adobe CC applications (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Have excellent listening and communication skills.
Physical Requirement(s):
This is a staff position and requires your presence in our Washington, DC office daily.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
