New Product Development Intern

Overview of the Role:
Are you interested in an entrepreneurial opportunity at a high-growth and cutting edge healthcare company? Our New Product Development intern will have the opportunity to directly interact with and learn from a highly experienced team of startup entrepreneurs. This internship is for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the D.C. Metro area.
As an intern, you will...
Help to gather business intelligence for the NPD team as they conduct data analysis
Assist in cleaning and structuring of data
Administer the organization and documentation of materials
Assist in ensuring proper presentation execution across the NPD team along with working collaboratively with the Population Health Team
"Wear many hats." You'll get the opportunity to touch all facets of a startup business ? from financial analysis, to strategy and marketing work, data entry, to support
Opportunities:
Gain hands-on experience in data and strategy as Privia grows its network of physicians and patients.
Expand your knowledge of the product development side of healthcare
Gain valuable experience in a startup environment
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and maintaining a 3.2 GPA or above
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, 30-40 hours preferred
Tech savvy, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven experience managing competing priorities
Ambitious, organized, and productive - you're an independent worker and can "hit the ground running"
Interest in entrepreneurship and healthcare, and willing to learn more
Preferred: Prior internship experience, intentions to maintain a long-term working relationship
Location: Our office is headquartered in Arlington, VA

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
