Capterra - Vendor Marketing Associate

The Vendor Marketing Associate is responsible for vendor marketing campaign development and implementation. Primary objectives are to drive vendor leads to Sales teams, boost client engagement, and drive vendor participation in Gartner Digital Markets reviews programs.
Responsibilities and impact
Leverage the Pardot marketing automation system to create dynamic email drip programs to client and non-client software vendors
Collaborate with design team to develop email templates, landing pages, and sales collateral to generate leads for sales
Create blog posts, video scripts, webinar slides, and other educational content pieces targeted toward B2B software marketers
Develop A/B tests to optimize engagement with vendor email campaigns
Report on email campaign results, highlighting opportunities for growth, areas of success, and trends
Generates inbound leads for Sales team for PPC and PPL programs across Gartner Digital Markets' sites
Markets vendor service offerings such as landing page creation and reviews campaign services, and passes engaged vendors over to those teams
Distributes educational emails such as monthly email newsletters, webinar invites, and guides
Optimizes email deliverability, open rates, and click through rates through A/B tests and thorough understanding of current email marketing best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
0-2 years of professional experience, ideally in a marketing role
Experience managing email marketing campaigns for professional organization
Experience with email marketing software such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, or ideally a marketing automation system such as Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, etc.
Proficient with list management and spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets)
Excellent writing skills and experience writing in a business style for blogs, emails, and web copy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
