Job Description
NTT DATA Services Federal Government, Inc. seeks a qualified Help Desk Tier II Specialist in Arlington, VA. In addition to occasional direct phone level user support, assists Tier 1 personnel in solving technical problems or investigating elevated issues and seeking solutions to more complex problems. Most issues will require desk side support working directly with user. Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
Job Responsibilities Include:
-Troubleshooting common desktop equipment problems and provide the solution to the incident.
-Interacting with customers, both remotely and in-person, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
-Analyzing desktop hardware/software systems, peripherals, and network connectivity environments/issues to resolve customer incidents.
-Managing multiple support calls in various stages of the help desk ticket lifecycle while providing exceptional customer service from submission to completion.
This position is open to US citizens only and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Position of Public Trust clearance.
Basic Qualifications
-2+ years experience with Windows 7 and Windows XP
-1+ years experience in PC/Microcomputer support
-1+ years experience in Network connectivity
-1+ years experience in Email setup and archiving
-1+ years experience in PC Desktop Imaging
-Requires Comp TIA A+ certification or Microsoft Desktop Support Tech certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.
-Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desired Qualifications
-In depth knowledge about general desktop hardware and software systems, peripherals, and network connectivity.
-Experienced as a technician supporting end user in a service center or in a desk side support setting.
-BMC Remedy Service Management software experience desired.
-High school diploma or GED is required. Coursework towards a BA degree required.
Typically requires 3 years relevant experience without a Degree or Undergraduate Degree and at least 1/2 year relevant experience
Physical Requirements
Light lifting of computer equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
