Data Information Analyst

The Senior Analyst conducts organized analytical assessments and evaluations to understand and/or evaluate complex issues to inform decision making, policy development, system development, management, or administration of client processes. He or she performs studies, analyses, and evaluations across a wide variety of domains and provides recommendations to client organizations to improve the organization's mission performance and supports development and execution of programs to implement solutions. SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION
Work with OSD executives to mature, define, and communicate a strategy for structuring and providing access to DoD acquisition program data. Develop concepts and plans for extracting, translating, and combining information from structured and unstructured data sets. Assist in developing work plans, data structures, and information management practices to design and implement client acquisition data tool capabilities. Work closely with mission area executives, data owners, data modelers, and system engineers to assess, organize, translate, combine, and maintain information collections. In cooperation with mission owners and system engineers, strategize options for providing acquisition data validation, search and retrieval capabilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to the position plus at least 5 years of professional experience; or bachelor's degree plus at least 8 years' relevant professional experience. LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL STATURE
Works under general direction; experience serving as the primary interface and point of contact with client program authorities and representatives on technical and program issues. Demonstrated ability to supervise program and project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing all aspects of the effort, and monitoring and reporting progress. Consistently explores and develops new business opportunities with existing or prospective clients; experience in conceptualization and development of proposals for new work. Plays a significant role in functional strategic planning; comprehends concepts of mission-based 'markets' and understands how business strategies align with mission areas; is able to conceptualize and characterize mission areas for business pursuits. Proven ability to interact, communicate, and advise at senior levels in client organizations and the parent corporation. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree with IT, engineering, or information management focus. Demonstrated ability to think structurally, organize data and communications, and clearly specify requirements for both data and IT systems. Excellent communication skills in both management and technical working groups. Ability to work with information software in minute detail while maintaining focus on broad strategic issues. Ability to obtain DoD security clearance at SECRET level.
At least 10 years of experience with DoD, preferably in acquisition at both program and portfolio levels. Demonstrated success in working with IT system engineers and user groups/mission area owners to define and deliver system requirements. Experience developing and presenting briefings, papers, and instructional materials to both executive and staff level audiences. DISCLAIMER

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
