ODASD CNGT Legislative Program Support

Program Support (Legislative). Provide support at ODASD (CN>). ODASD (CN>) requires a physical presence for successful task performance. In coordination with the COR, ODASD (CN>) will provide facilities for one (1) Contractor personnel in ODASD (CN>) spaces in the Pentagon, Arlington, VA starting September 22, 2016.
Analyze congressional legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements that involve or relate to USG efforts to counter the illicit drug trade, threat finance, piracy, transnational organized crime, and trafficking in persons, wildlife, and weapons.
Conduct assessments, for USG personnel review, of paragraph implications for related DoD programs and policies.
Analyze DoD legislative proposals for accuracy of technical treatment, content, and supporting justification and compliance with policy and guidance that involves or relates to DoD efforts to counter the illicit drug trade, threat finance, piracy, transnational organized crime, and trafficking in persons, wildlife, and weapons and prepare, for USG personnel review, congressional notification packages supporting execution of the DoD counter narcotics program.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA). Program Support (Legislative) must possess the following attributes:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to translate highly technical information into plain language for communication with congressional staff and to enhance public understanding of the DoD counter narcotics program.
In-depth knowledge of the U.S. legislative process and DoD counter narcotics authorities in order to provide background information necessary for USG personnel to draft or develop proposed changes to governing legislation and comments to draft congressional testimony, responses to congressional correspondence, or agency responses to audit reports from the Inspector General, the Government Accountability Office, or other federal audit entities.
Contractor personnel providing physical presence shall possess a master?s degree in legislative affairs, public relations, or related field such as political science or business.
Ten (10) years of experience providing a similar caliber of services to the services described in paragraph
4.1.1 to very senior general officer or flag officer ranks in the U.S. Armed Forces or SES levels within DoD or other government agencies (or equivalent industry levels)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
