Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation SME

Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise in the provision of Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A), DIACAP, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation package and artifact generation, requirements analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and execution, risk assessments, systems analysis and hardening, incident response and policy analysis, trusted product evaluations, IA program assessments, and security posture presentations. Provide analytical and technical support for the development and submission of C&A documentation in compliance with DIACAP or RMF requirements. Apply technology expertise, analyze the security implications of system and application security, and provide recommendations to decision-makers and engineers. This position is located at Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
6 years of experience with both IT and IA
6 years of experience with IA security policy
Experience with the DoD C&A process, including DIACAP and RMF
Experience with developing test plans and procedures to address the level of effort for the IT system being accredited
Experience with validating IA requirements applicable to the IT systems being accredited
Knowledge of DoD approved testing tools
Secret clearance
AAS degree
IAT II Certifications, including Security , CISA, CASP, or CISSP
Additional Qualifications:
3 years of experience with developing and presenting technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences and clients both orally and in writing
BA or BS degree in CS or Computer Information Systems
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
