Description
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
CSRA provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. CSRA supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas.
Essential Job Functions
Install, configure, troubleshoot, patch, and manage BigFix on Windows, Solaris, and RedHat
Support tickets relating to BigFix technical issues
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for BigFix application and agents
Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with Servers, software, and communications devices
Provide escalation supportfor technical support and assistance to junior adminstrators.
Interfaces with our client, other contractors, and internal team to present ideas and concepts for approval
Makes business and technical recommendations for new initiatives.
Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution for BigFix and general patching issues on Windows, Solaris, and
Red Hat systems.
Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Qualifications
Qualifications
BS or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience, or MS + 3 yrs related experience
7+ years of server operations experience
Operations experience in a variety of server based operating system - MS Server 2008 and above, Solaris 9/10, RedHat
6/7
Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM) management experience with SCM content and workflow
Strong knowledge of supporting MS tools (SCCM, SCOM, DNS, networking, storage, clustering)
Bourne shell scripting ability (required to create Unix content)
TEM Relevance Language
Understanding of XML and JSON
Virtualization technologies (VMWare, HyperV)
Working TEM deployment experience
Experience with Unix Shells such as Bash, Ksh, Zsh or any other POSIX shell programming experience
Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or Flex and ActionScript
Familiar with Web technologies, both front and back end
Familiar with VMWare virtualization technologies, especially automation based on VMWare products
Knowledge of software engineering design principles, software verification, and Quality Assurance testing
Familiar with security, best practices and methodologies
Strongly suggest that successful candidate has current certifications in all the required skills
Strong analytical skills; Able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment.
Strong organizational skills; Must be able to multitask without sacrificing attention to details.
Able to work effectively with other groups and teams.
Must be able to come up to speed on new project areas quickly as this role will grow quickly

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
