Program Support Analyst (Homeland Security) HLSF11

E3 Federal Solutions, LLC seeks a Program Support Analyst in support of our work with our client ? the Department of Homeland Security - Transportation Security Administration - Office of Security Capabilities (OSC) - Checkpoint Technologies Division.
The position is located on 1421 Jefferson Davis Hwy, in Arlington, VA.
The Office of Security Capabilities (OSC) - Checkpoint Technologies Division directly supports TSA's mission by providing security capabilities to the field. OSC continues to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our nation's transportation systems through the qualification and deployment of security capabilities that drive the global standard for security. ? The OSC reports to the Deputy Administrator of the TSA.
We support the Checkpoint Technologies Division in the planning and execution of acquisition, procurement, and strategic planning activities for the Passenger Screening Program.
This Work Program includes all tasks associated with managing acquisitions, budget activities, and developing and evaluating performance goals and measures . Our team manages and prepares equipment recapitalization plans, ensures compliance with acquisition guidelines and policy, oversees planning and execution of budget activities, and coordinates with DHS S&T on research and development (R&D) and detection activities. CTD ensures the most technologically efficient and effective capabilities and technology are available for screening passengers and carry-on baggage.
The Program Support Analyst provides program management, portfolio management, and/or acquisition support. This position develops key program deliverables, supports stakeholder outreach efforts, and provides meeting support.
This position provides client - facing support for program management activities to include:
Developing performance management review and other briefings in PowerPoint
Working with scheduling team to identify manage project schedules and identify risks to critical project milestones
Developing monthly reports, tracking performance metrics
Preparing meeting agendas
Taking meeting notes, and capturing/tracking action items
Managing SharePoint sites and document libraries for relevant projects and programs
Supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, other meetings, and stakeholder outreach activities; including working on stakeholder engagement plans and preparing meeting agendas, materials, and meeting notes
Serving as a key analytical resource on engagement team; conduct relevant research, distill data, and create reports
Using MS Excel to distill and analyze data
Responsibilities may also include:
Writing memos, reports, statements of work
Contributing ideas to address Mission requirements
Supporting efforts to implement and track progress against strategic plans
Developing process improvement diagnoses, process modeling and documentation, and work with teammates and clients to implement new processes
Defining business needs and apply methodologies and contribute to deliverable preparation
Participating in program assessments, and development/tracking of performance measures and indicator
Engaging in quality assurance reviews of deliverable or work product developed by teammates
Description of Requirements, Skills, & Certifications
Required Skills, Experience and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 1 + years of directly related professional work experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Solid analytical skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability clearance
Familiarity with transportation systems protection, including screening equipment (explosives detection, cargo screening, passenger screening) a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
