What You'll Be Doing:
Operating Plan ? Development and management of the operating plan developed in coordination with the Solution/Regional Presidents ? examples of elements of the operating plan would be to build efficiency in specific aspects of the business to hit target economics (unit price analysis), execute against integration priorities within specific operating units, achieve efficiencies of x% within certain functional and cross-functional departments.
Direct Ownership of Execution on Key Org/Operational Initiatives ? Direct ownership over execution for specific high priority operational initiatives. Some examples of the types of initiatives that this would entail include: Oversee plans to create central UM department and to lead integration; Oversee plans to re-work analytics/IT/Data Operations structure to support centralized/decentralized analytics model; Insuring we have a clear network contracting approach that distributes the premium in the most effective way to align incentives across various aspects of the delivery system.
Accountability Structures ? Insuring we have appropriate cascading structures, with clear agendas, escalation paths and reports that minimizes duplication, places primary accountability on the right individuals and allows for good visibility into performance, issue identification and resolution.
Dashboard/KPIs ? Oversee the development and management of critical operating metrics and KPIs in coordination with the Solution/Regional Presidents ? build both the dashboard and the process for review of KPIs across the operations of the business that minimizes risk, highlights key areas of focus and provides transparency into operations to enable action. This dashboard should be done in a way that is integrated with any dashboards at the Solution/Regional Presidents and should roll up without being duplicative.
Culture, Transparency and Bi-directional Communication ? As a key part of the Operating Plan, this individual will work across the leadership team to oversee that we are identifying and isolating areas of focus from a culture perspective, that we are communicating upward and downward in a transparent way and that we continue to advance key culture initiatives as a core part of the operating plan.
Budget/Staffing? Partnership with Finance and the Solution/Regional Presidents to support ongoing budget management efforts through managing trade-offs in accordance with the operating plan, supports the shifting needs of our revenue picture and provides visibility and transparency to the Solution/Regional Presidents around current P&L performance
Management Responsibility ? Direct management over a staff of two and indirect management over matrixed individuals assigned to specific projects across the above categories.
The Experience You Need (Required):
Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Preferred A Master's Degree in a related field
Required 8 years of experience in an healthcare operations or consulting field
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Preferred Experience working with provider sponsored value based care organizations or managed care organizations
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal/verbal communication skills
Exceptional facilitative skills with a vision and understanding of the future and subsequent changes required to meet business needs
Highly competent using Microsoft Office suite of applications
Ability to be extremely organized, disciplined, hand's on, and process oriented leader who is not afraid of digging into details
Problem solves and approaches work from a "return on investment" perspective
Ability to work in a matrixed reporting environment
Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced, and data driven environment
Ability to think creatively and out of the box

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
