Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience with providing information assurance support, documenting compliance, or evaluating IA security posture in a DoD environment
-Experience with developing and maintaining RMF packages, Cybersecurity strategies, and supporting documentation
-Experience with DoD directives, STIGS, and IAVAs for applicability and implementation
-BA or BS degree
-DoDI 8570.01-M Compliant Certification, including Security+
-Experience with DoD ACAS tool suite
- Troubleshoot and analyze problems with SCCM and GPO configuration.
- Understanding of system hardening, tools, guidelines and benchmarks and encryption technologies.
- Must have a Security+ as a minimum
- Must have an operating system certification

Job Description
The candidate will be a member of the Security operations team responsible for the technical planning, system integration, verification/validation and supportability for all security tools for the total systems prior to being deployed to the network. He/she will be supporting security and intrusion equipment/ applications in a Microsoft Windows environment, from design through implementation. He/she will perform a wide variety of security hardening and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment.
Provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure. Perform analysis of Cybersecurity artifacts required to support the execution of the risk management process. Work closely with the development team to review, document, verify, and support Cybersecurity requirements that apply to the system. Interface with project managers, system engineers, software developers, and other technical and functional support staff to gather facts through research, interviewing, and surveys, support assessments and evaluations of security vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the development of system life cycle documentation by reviewing and endorsing such documentation and providing recommendations to government assessors. Support the government in advising on system security, planning, progress, and risks and ensure Cybersecurity is incorporated into all aspects of system development and implementation. Ensure system vulnerabilities are tracked, categorized, and mitigated against risks and support the documentation of system vulnerabilities into automated systems and tools.
Position Responsibilities:
- Keeps security software up to date and maintains machines and servers to keep them at an optimal level of performance.
- Managing and maintaining computer systems and tools; finding and fixing issues within systems; and implementing, monitoring, and building tools that automate repetitive tasks to minimize errors and prevent downtime.
- Designing, planning, putting into place, and having the highest level of performance as an expert in the system administration for computers and their complex operating systems.
- Research and select upgrades, software and other necessities for DoD computer systems.
- Work with other administrators to resolve or implement new hardware for computers, printers and other service systems for the customer.
- Training and supervising new employees.
- Strong ability to plan, organize, evaluate and redesign system designs to have them work better for the customer.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), be a team player and perform difficult tasks well under pressure.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
