PMO Analyst

The Program Management Office Analyst will be the information hub for a large, complex, multiyear application modernization program referred to as Orion. This role will help ensure the success of Orion by supporting the Project Management Team and the Orion Governance Committee including: tracking status of program deliverables and milestones and reporting the status to the Governance Committee in a consistent dashboard that allows them to constantly understand the program status; supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables; reporting on and escalating program level risk and issue; monitoring the status of projects transitioning into normal service; coordination of the regular project and program level reporting cycles to the Governance Committee; coordination of project governance meetings.
Responsibilities
Tracking and reporting of the status of all program deliverables and milestones via an executive dashboard that allows the Governance Committee to have a constant awareness of all specific program objectives, milestones, and program success criteria for Orion.
Track, report and escalate as necessary any program risk or issues that my impact the success of Orion and what mitigations are being taken.
Monitor and audit the consistent application of the Project Management Methodology and SDLC to ensure all necessary artifacts are produced and published to ensure consistent team communications and project delivery.
Coordination of the regular program level reporting cycles and Governance Committee communications.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience and Other Work Requirements
2 ? 5 years of experience
Associates Degree
Preferred:
5 + years of experience
Bachelor's Degree
PgMP or PMI or PMP
Specific Knowledge and Skills
Experience in managing large complex IT Programs
Experience the end to end project lifecycle
Experience of working within a structured project management framework
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles and typical challenges of software development
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Understanding of the importance for detail and organization

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
