The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has contracted through CAMRIS International partnered with IAP World Services Inc. (IAPWS), to recruit and hire qualified individuals for the following position:

The Program Assistant provides support to technical staff, performing a variety of both routine and complex administrative and analytical duties. These duties range from administrative tasks such as scheduling briefings and meetings and maintaining program files, to more complex analytical tasks such as collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for various program documents and designing and maintaining spreadsheets in support of financial tracking systems. The Program Assistant ranks tasks in order of importance and impending deadlines and handles several tasks simultaneously. The individual must develop a working knowledge of USAID policies and guidelines as well as corporate practices and procedures. This position has potential for professional development and training. The USAID Global Health Bureau supports field health programs, advances research and innovation in selected areas relevant to overall Agency health objectives, and transfers new technologies to the field through its own staff's work, coordination with other donors, and a portfolio of grants. Global health issues have global consequences that not only affect the people of developing nations but also directly affect the interests of American citizens. The overall goals of the Global Health Bureau are to End Preventable Child and Maternal Deaths, Achieve an AIDS-free Generation; and Protect Communities from Infectious Disease.
The Office of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (GH/MCHN) serves as the Agency's technical and policy lead on maternal and newborn health; child survival; immunization; and nutrition, with a focus on ending preventable child and maternal deaths. Cross-cutting activities managed by the Office in support of this goal address private sector partnerships, social and behavior change communication, multilateral partnerships, gender, and monitoring and evaluation. The Maternal and Newborn Health Division (GH/MCHN/MNH) provides technical and policy leadership, and support to the field, in state-of-the-art approaches to accelerating reductions in maternal and newborn mortality, focusing on the USAID-assisted countries with the highest burdens of mortality and using evidence-based approaches to scale-up proven interventions to address the leading causes of mortality. The Division manages diverse activities to achieve this goal including providing technical assistance and leading multi-stakeholder partnerships with private sector, non-governmental organizations, and professional associations. This position will support the teams within the GH/MCHN/MNH Division. More specifically, the incumbent will primarily support the Saving Lives @ Birth (SL@B) project, Every Preemie Scale (EP-Scale) project and the Survive and Thrive Global Development Alliance (GDA), as well as other division-wide duties as assigned.
? Provides project management support, especially on the following projects ? Saving Lives @ Birth (SL@B), Every Preemie Scale (EP-Scale) and Survive and Thrive GDA.
? Assists technical staff in the preparation of various program documents and correspondence, such as project authorization documents, action memos, and waivers, ensuring that all documentation is complete and in compliance with USAID rules, regulations, and standards.
? Works with USAID staff on general management-related activities.
? Maintains/or provides assistance with administrative and financial tracking systems, and assists in the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases to support these systems.
? Assists in determining quarterly accruals for funded projects.
? Researches, plans, analyzes, and organizes technical and/or statistical information and develops data for use in briefings, publications, and reports. Recommends statistical formats for reports, ensuring consistency with USAID standards.
? Drafts program communications such as cables, memoranda, and letters that seek approval or request information relative to program matters.
? Collects and compiles data for use in regular and ad hoc reporting on the status of programs from various sources such as cooperating agency reports, USAID reports and documents, and technical staff.
? Assists in development of technical presentations.
? Schedules meetings and webinars.
? Assists with using electronic equipment for webinars and videoconferences.
? Maintains program files and ensures that schedules and deadlines are met.
? Collects and makes arrangements for distribution of material to the USAID Missions, USAID/W offices, host country institutions, and cooperating agencies.
? Liaises with USAID colleagues and stakeholders to answer internal and external questions about maternal and newborn health projects.
? Provides administrative and knowledge management support to technical advisors.
? Support weekly Maternal Newborn Health team meetings.

? The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of professional office experience.
? Proficiency in the use of Google and the Microsoft Office Suite is necessary; experience in the use of database applications is recommended.
? Candidates must be willing to work full-time.
? U.S. citizenship.
? A Secret security clearance is required and must be obtained.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
