A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models integrating planning, sourcing, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. Supply Chain professionals design and implement strategies that transform buying and selling with differentiating product evaluations, standardization, utilization, sourcing and procurement strategies, processes, technologies, organizations and end-user behaviors.
Key responsibilities may include:
Analyzing and validating quality of the data collected to support supply chain assessments and strategic sourcing, product and service utilization based on evidence based practice and industry trends, procurement-to-payment processes, and fulfillment programs
Development of specific solutions to address and prioritize opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Supervise process design activities
Assist with the development of capabilities and key performance measurements/KPI's
Develop and implement tracking and reporting tools for monitoring actual to proposed improvements
Facilitate and support the use of value analysis processes to identify and implement value creation opportunities for clients
Prepare the client for implementation (planning, tools, communications, training and measurement)

A minimum of 4 years of direct hospital experience; clinical support environment with purchasing or inventory in the following: Surgical Services , Cath Lab, Invasive Radiology Services, Nursing Intensive Care, Lab/Bloodbank
Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas in healthcare or a related field:
Healthcare support services environment: e.g. Dietary, Facilities Management/Environmental Services, Supply Chain/Sourcing/Materials Management/Distribution/Warehouse Management
Healthcare ERP: e.g. Lawson, PeopleSoft, PMM; including capability to navigate the system to write queries and develop reports from supply chain, inventory, warehouse and/or financial modules.
Health Supply Chain data analysis
Heath Shared Services Implementation and Operations
Minimum of 6 years of experience in one or more of the following: Project Management, Business Model Development, Business Performance Management, Procurement Transformation, Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement Performance Optimization, Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, Procurement Diagnostics and Strategic Planning
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite of products: notably Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Healthcare Supply Chain external consulting experience
Bachelor's degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
